/ About GlobalTiC /
GlobalTiC, the Global Talentrepreneur Innovation & Collaboration Association was established in 2006. Its origins trace back to the TiC 100 Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition for university students across Taiwan ROC, initiated in 1999 by the Advantech Foundation (affiliated with Advantech, the world’s No. 1 leading industrial computer company). GlobalTiC was founded as a non-profit organization to carry forward the mission of promoting innovation and entrepreneurship.
The majority of its members are industry experts, scholars, academic institutions, research organizations, legal entities, and enterprises who have long been engaged in innovation and entrepreneurship activities. It is the first organization in Taiwan jointly established to promote innovation and entrepreneurship education. Currently, GlobalTiC collaborates with over 80 universities, departments, and professors, as well as more than 70 enterprises and organizations in Taiwan. It stands as the only professional community in Taiwan that unites long-term contributors to innovation and entrepreneurship education and activities. Internationally, GlobalTiC has engaged with over 600 universities in more than 50 countries through competitions and events related to innovation and entrepreneurship.
GlobalTiC serves as a knowledge-based economic service platform for innovation and entrepreneurship, offering five core functions:
1. Innovation and entrepreneurship education, including innovation and entrepreneurship seed teacher class and entrepreneurship consulting class training.
2. Host innovation and entrepreneurship competitions, including Taiwan-wide and international college students and start-up companies.
3. Entrepreneurship incubation guidance, including consultation guidance, training and teaching, incubation and integration acceleration.
4. Business opportunity media, including forum activities, corporate cooperation, international links, and financial venture capital.
5. Innovation and entrepreneurship certification, including innovation and entrepreneurship training certification for schools, teachers, consultants and students.
6. Industry innovative trend development including ESG net zero carbon emissions and AI artificial intelligence digital transformation.

GlobalTiC is a collective of partners from diverse fields—industry, government, and academia—who embody entrepreneurial spirit, continuous innovation, and selfless contribution. Global Talentrepreneur Innovation & Collaboration (GlobalTiC) was issued on the "National and Regional People's Organization Certificate" (Tai-Nei-She-Zi No. 0950043684) on March 6, 2006 and officially approved by the Ministry of the Interior.
The first board of directors and supervisors (from March 6th, 2006 to March 5th, 2009) was composed of Mr. Lin Chung-Ming, the former chairman and principal of National Yunlin University of Science and Technology, Mr. Li Zhong-Xi, the former Vice-chairman and director of Industrial Technology Research Institute, Mr. Wang Ting-An, the former vice-chairman and leader of Science and Technology Division , Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Canada, Mr. Huang He-Ming, the former managing director and chairman of Atelligent Global Consulting Corp., Mr. Cai Shi-Yang, the former managing director and chairman of Smart Management Consulting Co., Ltd, Mr. Shi Shao-Cheng, the former managing supervisor and vice-secretary of Financial Executives Institute, Mr. Lyu Xue-Jin, the former director and chairman of Chunghwa Telecom Co., Ltd, Mr. Zhang Guang-Ming, the former director and CEO of Taiwan Design Research Institute, Mr. Ke Zhi-Sheng, the former director and senior expert of Institute for Information Industry and others. On the other hand, the secretariat was comprised of Mr. Jian Yi-Jun and Mr. Su Zhi-Hua in succession to form a management team.
